Join us for a creative session where we build a new puppet each week while learning the technical art of puppetry. Students will hone their acting skills by developing unique voices, attitudes, and stories for their characters. This hands-on class is an excellent way to explore acting and multitasking, engaging the body, mind, and voice simultaneously. It is a great fit for children who love both performance and visual arts.

Follow Alice down the rabbit hole, where she will meet extraordinary friends and a few bothersome foes! Students will create this full-length production together as an ensemble. Every student will receive a meaningful role, as we hold space in the workshop for as many parts as are written in the script. During our time together, students will set artistic goals and be cast according to those aspirations. We will explore how to create believable characters by using our minds, bodies, and voices to bring our creative choices to life on stage. In addition, we will focus on the joy of working as an ensemble. This workshop is designed to help each student take their next steps as a performer, while connecting these theatrical principles and practices to their social-emotional and academic wellness. We look forward to seeing you in Wonderland!
Our goal is to help each student set artistic, social, and emotional objectives, fostering growth as both actors and individuals!
